I am going to pick up Summoner for Mac and wondered if there were 3 other people who wanted to experience the game first as a coop. There is coop multiplay for 4.
Post a reply with when you will be getting the game and what works best to begin our Summoner adventure.

[/quote] I would be interested but (a) I just picked up a couple of other games and (b) with the baby, I couldn't guarantee regular or sufficiently-long playing sessions.
gonna pre-order via buy.com Should get it in a few days. You'll have to guide me gently, I've never played these kind of RPG games don't hate me if I get bored.
fyi-
Compuexpert has it for less with Fedex shipping than Buy.com has it without shipping
uploading a bunch of screens on CPHL

It looks pretty cool. I did have weird CD 2 problems, but it seemed to work itself out (weird noises, wouldnt spin up) and now is OK. The game is pretty interesting RPG, if a little clunky in the UI dept. The world so far is BIG, and I forsee a LOT of exploring. Havent tried multi-player yet, tho.
I got the second disc of summoner to work (got an image from my brother) but now I'm running into a NEW problem!
The video is non-existant! I'm sure it's an ATI driver issue. My machine is a slot-loading Rev C or D (I fergetz) iMac and I can't see anything once the game starts! I've read about similar issues from other players on some of the various mac gaming forums (annoyingly, graphsim has NO online tech support for Summoner... they still list the game as 'Going Gold!' those idiots)
So I'm going to troubleshoot it as much as possible, but it's really annoying because the game takes such a long time to startup, coupled with countless system restarts, argh!
In case anyone cares, I'm running an up to date sys 9.0.4

Let me know if the game is good, though.
