I resently respecced and nabbed a handful of talents I felt were important. It represents a switch away from elemental for me, with a strong focus on enhancement. Let me know how you think I can spend my last 7 points effectively.

Question: Are you going 1h + shield, or are you using staves?

I'm seeing two major possibilities for you here: High DPS melee (staff) with backup healer potential, or pseudo-tank (1h + shield) who can self-heal, largely depending weapon choice.

For the first option, I'd swap around some points: drop anticipation to 0, raise improved Strength of Earth to 3 (slightly more damage for you, the tank, and any other melee DPS), then add Combat Endurance (to recover cumulative incidental damage without wasting a heal) and 5 levels of Ancestral Healing (tanks love this, and your 5 Tidal Mastery makes it more worthwhile).

For the second route, I'd spend 2 more into Anticipation or Improved Stoneskin totem, then spend the remaining 5 in either Ancestral Healing (make yourself that much harder to damage when you heal yourself) or on 5 points of Toughness. I'd say toughness is more worthwhile, as you'd have permanent +10% armor rather than a chance at +25% when you heal yourself. Bird in hand being worth 2.5 in the bush and all that.

    What do you think?

I guess point swapping isn't an option without another respec. Hmm. Maybe just add the 3 strength of Earth to route 1 and then spend the remaining 4 into Ancestral Healing or whatnot. Maybe two-handed axes + maces might be worthwhile if you're already going 2H.

I'm afraid I can't offer any advice, as I don't know jack about your class.

Thanks for your input Meadow (and Blackcat). I'm honestly not sure whether I'll go 2h or 1h+shield. Right now, I'm enjoying my staff for the big hit factor in PvP. I'm thinking of doing a bit of a hybrid of things you've said. Grabbing Combat Endurance, 2H Axes and Maces, some Anticipation and some Toughness. I guess it'll do. I'll have a free respec eventually, I imagine, so I can change it up later without paying through the teeth. I'm trying not to take any totem boosting talents because most people say they're just not worth it, but whatever.

Personal opinion. 2H axe and mace is a waste. You can find just as good of a Staff. Use that point somewhere else. of course if you find an Epic 2h axe or 2h Mace that you really want spend it there.

    Just me though

The greedy Fighter says "Get that improved Grace of Air!"

However, as Xief on Alleria I couldn't live without a 1 second Ghost Wolf cast...

You also may want to consider improved grounding totem. That's a very important pvp totem, and although I'm rusty in the ways of the Shaman, on the face if it, it seems like a decent upgrade.
