Well, I'm in new digs right? Magan decided to get me out of my post-move funk before work by going out and getting our tree set up a bit early. While I was in Missouri for turkey day, she scored a nice fake colorado fur for cheap at Wal-Mart.
So, without further ado, I give you one of the geekest trees ever I believe I've ever assembled. However, in my eyes, it is also sweet and awesome.

The ornaments, unleashed. We got Vader, Luke, Obi-Wan, we got the Star Trek "captains" (spock with kirk, data and picard, T'Pol and Archer...etc), lots of ships (most of which light up)...it's a nerd orgy down there. Not included in pictures and the movie below is the DS9 and Enterprise models, which have voice and lights. DS9 is the most impressive, all the docking pilon lights come up when it sits in its base.

That little ship Picard and Data used to escape in Nemesis. It was really, really neat lit up. The control panels light up that sick color of green and you can see Picard and Data in there.

Anyway, I have a small stash of hallmark ornaments that I've never taken out of their boxes because one day I had the idea I might sell them as a set on ebay. Magan knew this was nonesense so we dragged them out, took them with us when we moved, and used them on our new tree.

It got flashed out, but the ornament says, "Magan and Brent's First Christmas

Some up-close shots, some are blurry but using flash would have ruined the color and lights.

A Borg cube that is constantly lit from the inside. When you activate it, it says, "We are the Borg, Enjoy your Holidays, Resistance is Futile."

A very, very blurry Enterprise-era Vulcan ship. I included it because the warp ring glow was just so amazing.
Finally, a movie of some of the talking and lit ornaments on the tree. It includes Darth Vader, the Delta Flyer, and the Borg.

Anyway, this really helped cheer me up in a new place. I hope it gets you in the holiday spirit and stirs the inner-geek in most of you
The best part of that picture is the monkey magnet on the fridge!

(To add to the f33r, my wife is going to love your tree decorations)
