Hey, just would like an opinion on how fried one of my HD's is. Here are the symptoms: Makes funny noises on startup (clicking), The drive can't be read by osx startupdisk or drive10 disk utility (both started up from cd), the drive was physically hot (quite a bit hotter then the 2nd drive in my comp that worked). So I'm guessing that it's totally fried.
Drive10 for osx on the other hand works quite well. Haven't really used it too much though

Sending it back. Call up whoever makes your drive; you might be able to get a replacement.
